Cody Davis is a Trade Advisor and Global Trade Management (GTM) software specialist within Ernst & Young LLP’s Global Trade practice, where he focuses on duty optimization programs and the technology that enables the effective use of those programs. Cody has extensive experience in Foreign-Trade Zone Inventory Control and Recordkeeping (FTZ ICRS) systems implementation, optimization, audit, and administration. Cody also has experience with programs such as First Sale, Value/HTS Recon, US Duty Drawback, IMMEX, EU Inward Processing, CN Processing Trade Regime/Handbook Management, and other similar programs.
Cody’s experience in FTZ ICRS systems has significantly contributed to over 80 successful implementations across nearly all industries that leverage the program: Automotive, Aerospace, Consumer Electronics, Heavy Equipment Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Retail, Apparel and Footwear, Petrochemical, Diversified Manufacturing, Logistics, and many others.
Cody holds a Bachelors of Sciences in International Business from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, is a licensed US Customs Broker, and an active member in the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones (NAFTZ).
