NAFTZ will hold a Special Meeting of the Members on May 15 at 2:00 p.m. EDT for the purpose of considering and voting on proposed bylaw amendments related to the Association’s updated nominating and elections framework. Approval of these bylaw changes by the membership is required in order to implement the new process this year. Member participation in this important governance step is encouraged. These proposed bylaw amendments follow several months of work by a dedicated task force and the NAFTZ Board of Directors to review and strengthen the Association’s nominating and elections process. At its most recent meeting, the Board approved the proposed framework and related policy updates, subject to the required membership approval of the associated bylaw changes. The proposed updates are intended to support a more transparent, structured, and forward-looking governance process for NAFTZ.
Under the NAFTZ Bylaws, only the Designated member from an organization is authorized to vote at a Special Meeting of the Members. Designated representatives may vote either by participating in the live Zoom meeting or by submitting a proxy vote in writing by email.
Please select only one voting method; you may not register for both.
Proxy votes must be submitted to info@naftz.org by May 10, 2026. Instructions for proxy voting will be linked for download in the registration confirmation.
