Description
Share your experiences preparing for CPSC’s mandatory FTZ ACE filings beginning January 2027.
NAFTZ Members:
Consumer Product Safety Commission's (CPSC) mandatory ACE FTZ filings will begin in January 2027, and the NAFTZ Automation Committee is inviting members—especially FTZ Operators and Administrators—to join our January 27, 2026 discussion to share real‑world preparation experiences and help shape practical guidance for the community.
• Date: Tuesday, January 27, 2026
• Time: 3:00–4:00 PM (U.S. Eastern)
What you can expect during the call
While 2027 may seem like a lifetime away, especially under our new tariff environment, there is a lot of work to be done to prepare. Currently, CPSC has not published their finalized, complete, list of HTS numbers that will require PGA data reporting. You may be impacted by these new requirements and are not aware. During our call, we will do a quick review of CPSC requirements and business impacts to ensure a basic understanding for those still needing to educate themselves.
Why your voice matters
FTZ operations face unique compliance and systems challenges compared to traditional entries.
We will also be compiling member insights on topics such as:
• Preparing certificate data for 3461 Cargo Release and aligning it with ACE message set requirements
• Managing multiple certificates per product utilizing the Full and Reference message sets
• Identifying pitfalls in the CATAIR message set and best practices to avoid holds and delays
• Practical approaches FTZs are using today to get ready for 2027
Who should attend
This call is open to all NAFTZ members—committee membership is NOT required to participate. FTZ Operators/Administrators and partners with hands‑on CPSC filing experience are especially encouraged.
How to join
Zoom meeting information will be sent to Automation Committee members and all additional registered attendees.
