NAFTZ All-Member Advocacy Update

Tuesday, July 1, 2025 (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Tariffs continue to challenge U.S. Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) operators, and NAFTZ is actively working in Washington to correct misconceptions and advocate for policy changes—particularly regarding the PF status admission restriction, which is hindering growth and competitiveness. We will present the latest information from our ongoing advocacy efforts in Washington, DC, and share the next steps to ensure Congress and the Administration understand the importance of FTZs and the current negative impacts Executive Orders are having on U.S. companies active in U.S. FTZs.

Please Note - Due to the sensitive nature of meeting, it will not be recorded.

Q&A:  As we have heard on previous calls, there are a lot of questions that members have.  So that we can answer as many as possible, we're asking that questions be provided in advance of the meeting.  This will allow us to identify and respond first to the most common questions, and will also allow time for the NAFTZ team to review and respond in more detail during the meeting.
