Michael Essig works as the Director of FTZ Strategy & Solutions for UPS. Michael has worked for UPS for 14 years and held various leadership positions in 3PL Operations, Business Development and Finance. In those roles Michael has had the opportunity to oversee many different UPS supported industries: Retail, High-Tech, Health-Care and Aerospace. The diversity in previous leadership roles gives him a unique perspective for opportunity.

Michael has been an integral part of the UPS FTZ program, helping build a foundation after the acquisition of Zone Solutions LLC in 2017. Once assuming UPS FTZ leadership role in 2021, Michael has worked to facilitate significant business growth for UPS as a whole.

In his current role, Michael has responsibility for business growth, UPS synergy creation, management of Implementation, Administration and steady-state FTZ business.

Gabrielle Yarbrough is a Customs Compliance and Foreign Trade Zone Manager for Kubota North America located in Gainesville and Jefferson, Georgia. She graduated from Young Harris College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and Public Policy with a minor concentrated in Russian History. Gabrielle started at Kubota nine years ago and helped to implement one of the largest subzones in the state of Georgia. Subzone 26P encompasses 11 production lines across seven factories producing 120,000 units annually of lawn and farm tractors, professional turf mowers, skid steer loaders, and four-wheel utility vehicles.
