- A blueprint for designing intelligent workflows that combine humans, systems, and agents into a coordinated operational model.
- Governance and controls required to deploy agents safely in regulated and audit-sensitive environments.
- Where AI agents deliver the biggest value first and which areas still require human judgment.
- How trade and compliance teams can prepare now for a future of continuously improving, semi-autonomous operations.
SPEAKER(s)
Hal Berman is a Co Founder, Chief Product Officer (CPO), and CEO of Trade Insight AI, a Portland, Maine–based company pioneering AI driven solutions for international trade classification and compliance. He is also the President of Global Trade Services.ai and a long time consultant in global trade compliance.
Penny Chen is the CEO of Pax, the first AI-powered duty drawback solution. She holds a PhD from MIT and previously a research scientist at Amazon and Flexport, where she built algorithms for large scale optimization problems. At Pax, Penny leads efforts to modernize duty drawback through algorithms and automation. She also advises organizations on how to adopt AI thoughtfully and responsibly in regulated environments.
Jeff Tafel, CAE, is the President of NAFTZ. He is a member and mission-focused non-profit professional with nearly 30 years of association senior management experience and specializes in developing and executing strategy.

All individuals must have an NAFTZ membership to receive the NAFTZ member rate, if a substitute is requested, the substitute must have a current NAFTZ membership in order to make such a transfer.
