NAFTZ Mourns the Loss of Angie Atwood (FTZ #138)

We are sad to announce that we recently and unexpectedly lost a member of the NAFTZ family, Angie Atwood. For those of you who did not know Angie, during her time as a member of NAFTZ, she was a fierce advocate of the FTZ program and the Columbus Regional Airport Authority/FTZ #138, she was an engaged Board member and Committee Chair, a virtual welcoming committee and mentor to members both new and old and a good friend. Angie’s commitment to advocacy was reflected in her receiving the inaugural Homer Maxey Award from the NAFTZ in 2020 which recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions and provided significant support for NAFTZ Advocacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with Angie’s family at this difficult time. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to share any fond memories and we will pass those along to Angie’s family.
