Introducing the NAFTZ Emerging Technology Advisory Group: A Forward-Looking Initiative
In our commitment to keep NAFTZ a leader in a changing world, we’re excited to announce the formation of the Emerging Technology Advisory Group (ETAG). This initiative is all about making sure we stay ahead of the curve and continue delivering the best possible support to you.
Why This Group Is Being Formed:
Technology is moving fast, and we want to understand how tools like artificial intelligence might change the way FTZ professionals access information, learn, and connect. The purpose of this advisory group is to ensure NAFTZ remains your trusted resource by anticipating these trends and helping us adapt thoughtfully.
What the Group Will Do (In Scope):
- Explore Emerging Technologies: The group will monitor how new technologies might influence FTZ operations.
- Provide Strategic Insights: They’ll offer insights to the Board on potential opportunities and risks, so we can stay proactive.
What the Group Won’t Do (Out of Scope):
- They won’t be building or endorsing any AI products.
- They’re not here to replace human expertise or change the core mission of NAFTZ.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a diverse mix of members to join this group, including:
- FTZ Practitioners: Those who run day-to-day operations and know the practical challenges.
- Consultants/Advisors: Experts who understand where human judgment is key.
- Legal/Regulatory Specialists: Those with deep knowledge of FTZ regulations.
- Education & Workforce Development Voices: Those involved in training and onboarding.
- Tech-Savvy Members: Practitioners who use AI tools and can translate tech-speak into real-world terms.
We’ll soon invite applications from members who are interested in being part of this forward-looking effort.
Thank you for your continued trust in NAFTZ. Together, we’ll make sure we remain strong and ready for the future.
