Press Release: NAFTZ Appoints Sorini Samet & Associates as Government Relations Advisors
The National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones (NAFTZ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sorini Samet & Associates LLC (SSA) as its Government Relations Advisors effective January 1, 2024. With over three decades of experience in U.S. trade negotiations and legislation, SSA will play a crucial role in supporting the NAFTZ’s mission as the principal proponent and educator for the U.S. Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZ) program.
“The NAFTZ is dedicated to serving its membership by actively educating, promoting, and advocating for the FTZ program before legislators and policymakers in Washington, DC. This partnership with SSA is a significant step towards boosting our advocacy efforts to align with the Association’s 5-year advocacy vision and plan,” said Jeff Tafel, President of the NAFTZ.
