NAFTZ hosts the Legislative Summit, inviting federal government officials, policy makers and industry leaders from the foreign-trade zone community to bring Washington D.C. legislative briefings and advocacy topics from DC to you.

The ideal location to have government officials take part in the summit panels and for easy access to take your trade issues direct the Hill on Congressional Visits Day.

A limited number of hotel rooms have been reserved for the NAFTZ Legislative Summit.

The Madison Washington, Washington, DC, a Marriott Hotel, in Washington, DC, is the official hotel for the Legislative Summit 2025. Once online and call in reservations are available reference “NAFTZ Legislative Summit 2025” to book your room at the NAFTZ discounted rate of $259/night + tax, based on availability as a limited number of rooms have been reserved. AGENDA/Social Media Discussion

The 2025 program will be released closer to the event date. Traditionally the first day event is held from 8 am -7 pm for the NAFTZ Legislative Seminar. Then Congressional visits are conducted the following day, guests are encourages to contact their local representatives directly for appoints, see resources (letters, contact info, etc.) via the links provided above. The formal program will be available closer to the event date.

EARN EDUCATIONAL CREDITS

Attend the NAFTZ Annual Conference and earn credit. NAFTZ will undergo the application process closer to the event to offer CCS/CES credit. Attendance can be applied towards certification or recertification of your Accredited Zones Specialist (AZS) designation. NAFTZ is currently undergoing the approval process for CCS/CES credit for this event.
