The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) recently announced the largest expansion of Lacey Act filing requirements in years.  If you import items that contain any amount of plant products, and you do not currently file a Lacey Act declaration, you will likely need to file one once the Phase VII round of HTS codes are flagged,

If you already file Lacey Act declarations, Phase VII will likely expand the range of products for which declarations will be required. So whether you are new to Lacey Act declarations or not, join this webinar to hear directly from an APHIS official regarding Phase VII implementation policy and schedule.

This team is responsible for all import compliance activities, such as product HTS classifications, duty/tariff management, broker management and Foreign Trade Zones, as well as upstream supplier and product regulatory compliance, including social compliance audits, Lacey Act and EPA TSCA Title VI. Prior to Floor & Decor, Wayne held various roles in freight brokerage and is a Licensed US Customs Broker and a Certified Customs Specialist.
